Things have been going well recently. Ive been contacted to be a photographer for a special project and just being considered for that project makes me feel special. Can't even explain how excited i am.
Today was also a good day. Went to one of my favorite camera stores and got me some goodies. These are nothing too special, just some spare eneloops, new glass and a new bag. The bag was a necessity since my gear collection is growing. Gave away my old bag to my best friend's little sisters and picked up a new lowepro fastpack bp 250 aw 2..such a long name but i call it the fatpack since its soo big. It holds all my stuff and more. Also got a new softbox and flash coming in through the mail hopefully tomorrow. These would get my outdoor photoshoot game to be on point! Talking about outdoor photoshoots.. The new lens ia awsome.
Now i wantes to buy a new tamron 70-200 f2.8 this weekend but i realized that right now that would not be financially responsible. So i decided to get a nikon 55-300 vr instead. Its a variable aperture but from day one of shooting ive learned to make great shots using average gear. The quote ,"it's not the gear, it's the photographer" tends to be my moto when i go out to create shots. With that said, the lens is sharp..really sharp and the vr makes it even a stronger contender.
